Aiden Skiing

Aiden and Brian went skiing yesterday and had a lot of fun. They went for about 3 1/2 hours. And Aiden did much, much better. The main goal of the day was to learn how to stop and ride the chairlift and he accomplished both. The first video is sweet because he wipes out. Instead of turning away from the side hill he turns right into it. He loved the chairlift and did great getting on and off. By the end of the day he was turning better, stopping and avoiding people. All in all it was a successful day and he is ready for lessons. Julie

Mackenzie Skiing

On Monday Brian took Mac skiing for the first time. She had a good time and really enjoyed herself. Her quote of the day was "Dad, I want to do french fries. I want to go fast." And she did. She really did not try to turn...just went straight down and Brian would catch her. She did well and she will be ready for lessons to start a week from Saturday. Enjoy. Julie

Merry Christmas

Christmas was very chaotic at the Kelso House. The kids were very excited to open their presents and see what Santa brought them. Luckily Santa gave them all the things on their lists. We had a fun morning opening presents and eating sticky buns and fancy egg scramble....yummy. Aiden's 1st Ski Experience

Here are the videos of Aiden skiing. They are pretty funny but he did very well. The first one is the pre-skiing...looks happy and ready to go. The second one is the "magic carpet". Aiden thought this was pretty cool. And the last one is of him skiing with Bri behind him. I think he is excited to start lessons. Bri will probably take Mac this weekend. We will get some video of that and post it.
